Register for the Free Parenting the Intensity Retreat
And it ends Monday, February 26 @ 9am ET!
Presented by: "Just in Time" Parenting Support, an individual support program by Family Moments
Understanding what’s going on with your kids and staying calm during the meltdowns takes a lot more than "being more consistent", "being more strict" or "naming their emotions" .
(I'm sure you've heard all of them countless of times)
You're getting a lot of things right already.
But it feels like what you're "supposed to do" is not working and often makes things worst.
There has got to be a better way!
Want to understand what's going on with your child.
Need to know how to help your child calm down.
And of course, you also want to stay as calm as possible.
Join us for the Parenting the Intensity Retreat to learn how to understand what’s going on with your kids and stay calm during the meltdowns from supporters of emotionally intense kids and their families.
I'm a mom of 3 (wonderful and) emotionally intense kids, I have a master's in social work and I’ve been supporting parents of kids with all kinds of special needs for more then 15 years (and that's also how long I've been a mom!).
I now support parents of emotionally intense kids for whom nothing in the “general parenting advice” seems to work so they feel confident in trying different things that fit their kids' needs better.
Join me and 25 wonderful speakers in this one-of-a-kind event.
The Parenting the Intensity Retreat will run from February 21st to 23rd 2024, with a variety of presentations to choose from each day.
A replay weekend (24-25) for those who have a hectic schedule (who am I kidding, that's all of us!).
This event is entirely virtual, so you’ll be able to attend from anywhere in the world with internet access on your own time.
Attend 10-25 minutes presentations from our lineup of [##] speakers with trainings on:
Your free ticket includes 24-hour access to each presentation during the week of the summit (plus an access to them all again over the weekend)
You’ll also have access to our private Facebook community of folks like you who parent emotionally intense kids who are also working on clarifying what’s going on with your kids and staying calm during the meltdowns! This is where you’ll be able to connect with the speakers and other attendees before and during the event!
You’ll also have a chance to win prizes by showing up and participating throughout the summit. Be sure to keep an eye out for your BINGO card and come hang out with us in the Facebook community for chances to win prizes including The Confident Parent Affirmation Cards, Who's that Kid Workshop and 3 months of "Just in Time" Parenting Support
The feeling of loneliness is real, so in addition to the community, you'll get opportunities to connect live with other parents once each day (at different times of day so it fits every time zone and family schedules). Join us on Zoom to connect and ask questions to the speakers present
After registering, you’ll also have the chance to upgrade to the ALL-ACCESS PASS which includes ongoing access to the presentations after the summit wraps up, premium bonuses from our speakers, and more! You’ll get all the details (and a special offer) after grabbing your free ticket!
I'm dedicated in supporting you during the retreat and beyond, as parenting emotionally intense kids is far from a one and done thing (sorry if I'm breaking it out to you today).
To help, you’ll hear about my "Just in Time" Parenting support here and there throughout the event. On the final day of the retreat, two lucky (and engaged) attendees will be selected to win 3 months of support (worth $1500!)
The winners will gain instant access to ongoing individual audio and chat support and the Who's that Kid Workshop to get the support EXACTLY WHEN YOU NEED IT!
Stay tuned for details and your chance to apply!
You don't need people telling you to give more consequences, get at their level or tell them "no" more often.
We know you're kids can be wonderful when they are in the right environment and situation with the right support, so let's find together ways for those perfect moments to happen more often
As it's often the most pressing questions from parents, we'll start with that.
Let's explore techniques to help them regulate themselves in the hard moments, but most importantly that can help prevent and reduce outbursts
Goal of the day: They also want to feel calm, let's find ways that works for THEM!

It's great to have tools to help them calm down but finding the root cause will make a much bigger impact in the long run, so today we'll be looking into possible cause (or clues) of why your child could be emotionally intense and understand a bit more the reaction in their body.
*Disclaimer: nothing here is intended as diagnostic purpose, the goal is for you to explore the possibilities and if something resonates, to consult a medical or mental health professional*
Goal of the day: They feel bad, they are not bad, let's try to figure out why!

As much as we want to find solution for our kids, the only way to be able to go through life with one (or many) emotionally intense kids is to regulate ourselves first. So today's all about finding ways to do just that! And let's be honest, anything that helps us calm can be apply to our kids too.
There's a few talks about why it's necessary, but practical exercise, so you can sample ways to regulate yourself and find the ones that work for you.
Goal of the day: You need to regulate yourself first, let's find ways that works for YOU and that are sustainable long term!

Last spring you were my lifeline. You understood me, you listened to me, you gave me pointers. I'm so glad I got you during the storm. Thank you by the way, I can't tell you enough.

Anouk was a very understanding guide during this event. She created a safe space to share our thoughts, feelings and questions.
Her presence was very calming. Everyone was allowed to participate in their own way/pace. No guilt, no pressure. The exact opposite of what a normal parenting day looks like. Thank you for this, Anouk.

"Anouk is very intuitive and knowledgeable and had great practical tips for me to tackle the challenges I am experiencing with my 2 children.
She had insight which I had not ever even contemplated myself.
Thanks so much Anouk!"

If you think you have emotionally intense kids...then you most probably do and this event is for you!
We’ll be specifically talking to parents of emotionally intense kids and focusing on finding what's going on and ways for everyone to be calmer so you can enjoy life a bit more in a less stressful way, and anyone other then parents who are interested to understand emotionally intense kids is welcome to join us too.
If you're kids are 3yo to the teens years there will be stuff for you!
The main portion of the retreat runs from February 21-23 with a welcome session happening on the 20th. You’ll also be able to join our private Facebook community as soon as the week before, so you can join in on the fun right away!
There will also be a replay over the weekend (February 24-25) because I know that you already have your hands full with your kids!
While most of the presentations for the retreat are pre-recorded, there are some live elements, and the pre-recorded presentations are only available for 24 hours with your free ticket (plus 2 days replay). So we encourage you to attend live if you can! We would love for you to set aside some time during the retreat week to attend the live sessions, watch the pre-recorded presentations, come in the Facebook group to ask questions to the speakers and participate with others who are focusing on understanding their kids better and finding solution for everyday struggles.
However, if you’re not able to attend all of the sessions you want in time, go ahead and grab your free ticket, and you’ll have the opportunity to upgrade to the ALL-ACCESS PASS for extended access (plus so many other things included).
We also suggest you to choose the presentations that are relevant for you and not try to listen to them all!
Your free ticket includes 24 hour access to each of the presentations plus the 2 days replay where you'll be able to listen to them all again.
The presentations are between 10 and 25 minutes each to make that more realistic.
If you need more time, you can always upgrade your ticket to the ALL-ACCESS PASS after registering, which will give you ongoing access to the presentations along with premium bonuses from our speakers and more!
To avoid tech glitches, give you the best possible experience, and keep things easy for the speakers, the presentations are pre-recorded and will be released at 9AM EST each day of the retreat
However, the speakers will be hanging out in our private Facebook group with dedicated threads where you can connect with them and ask your questions! There will also be opportunities to join us for bonus live events throughout the week.

That way, you only hear from the people you really love and don't have to worry about getting added to tones of email lists that you're not interested in.
You can learn more in our Privacy Policy.
